  • Stahlhelm (Germany): The iconic German “steel helmet” introduced in WWI but refined during WWII. Its distinctive shape provided excellent protection and became a symbol of the German army.

  • Brodie Helmet (British): Though introduced during WWI, the British continued using the Brodie helmet during WWII, with slight modifications for better protection and comfort.

  • Adrian Helmet (French): Though phased out in favor of other designs, the French continued to use their Adrian helmets into WWII, particularly early in the conflict.

  • M35 Helmet (Germany): An updated version of the Stahlhelm, this was the standard helmet for the German military early in WWII. The M35 was made of thicker steel and had a more pronounced curved shape.

  • Mk II Helmet (British): Known as the “Tommy helmet,” this helmet was used by British and Commonwealth forces during WWII. Its bowl shape and rim provided basic protection and became an iconic symbol of British soldiers.
